ESXI 6.5 Enviroment Variables at Profile

I'm seeking desperately for help, I'm trying to export a Environment Variable to the /etc/profile using vi but I can't write on it, Message throws READ ONLY, any comment would be appreciated.

I'm using root as administrator role
