I've got several blades connecting to a SAN using the built-in software iSCSI adapter. I'd like to migrate all these to an HBA in the blade system. Is it possible to present the same LUN in both hardware and software and just disable the software adapter, or should this be a hard migration (EG: migrate all VMs off host, put into maintenance, disable software adapter, present via hardware, put back into production, move on to the next host)?
