Freenas on 6.5 on build 6765664

I have been running Freenas on esxi 6.5 for a while now and everything was working great.  Today I decided to upgrade my ESX host to build 6765664 (which is the latest build).  After the upgrade I rebooted the host and Freenas does not want to come up.  I keep getting "Transport (VMDB) error -45".

I thought that somehow FreeNas crashed, so I decided to create a second VM and import the data from the disks.  The issue is that on the new VM I am getting the same error message.  I wont boot up.

Any ideas on how to start the the Freenas VM?
