FCOE with Intel X710 CNA and ESXi6.5U1

Hi,

I tried to create a software FCOE adapter with my Intel X710 CNA on an Dell R740 Server (ESXi6.5U1).

The server is connected to a Cisco Nexus 5548UP.

But I get the the following error message:

Vorgang fehlgeschlagen, Diagnosebericht: Need at least mini jumbo frame (MTU:2500) to create native FCOE device on PNIC vmnic2

With an Intel Card X520 I didn't get this error message.

Do I have to enlarge the MTU size of the switch (for IP and FCOE or is FCOE enough) or can I modify ESXi Settings to use the card with the default Switch settings (1500 for IP and 2128 for FCoE).

The driver versions are as follows:

Driver: i40en Version: 1.3.1

Firmware Version: 5.40 0x80002d35 18.0.17
